“The Riverside Arts Festival is known for talented artists and artisans exhibiting in a beautiful location along the Delaware River where art pulses through this historic city’s veins. Toia is also Director of Lafayette College Community Based Teaching Program and Chairperson of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail.

This F R E E-to-attend 22nd annual Riverside Festival of the Arts is open from 10am to 5pm. Over 70+ curated artists and fine craftsmen will exhibit, demo, and offer their hand-made work for sale. Explore the Juried Arts Gallery $2000 in possible prizes, enter the Plein Air competition – or watch as the plein air artists create their art in ‘the open air’. Best in show wins $1000. Other creative competitions that have a people’s choice opportunity include “Hair as Art”, and “Food as Art: Wing Wars!” $5 for the finalist wings, and you decide! It’s the peoples’ choice for best in show wings.

“Since the 70’s, when I used to attend the Center Square art show put on by the Community Art League through today’s Riverside Arts Festival put on by ACE, I have been blown away by the incredible local talent that we have in our area,” noted long-time sponsor of the event, Andy Daub of Brown Daub Auto.

There’s also live music all weekend long on two stages, including 2018 Blues Hall of Fame 12 string guitarist Tom “The Suit” Forst, Roi and the Secret People, Cubbage, and Moondogs among a collection of other lively bands. Helsie Duster will be on the scene, hosting a lively Open Mic at the Ampitheatre.

The Freddy’s Theater Group, performance art, folklore dance, open mic at Riverside Amphitheatre with host, Helsey Duster, “Skin as Art” henna, Artful face-painting, art demos, and free children’s hands-on art projects at the Crayola booth along with the Stilt people, Grins & Grins. All are welcome to join in the “Rocking Easton” painted rock fun.

“As a 185-year old family-owned musical instrument maker, we have always nurtured homegrown music. We support local emerging talent – and you will hear plenty of that from the local School of Rock at this beautiful arts festival. Our aim is to bring inspiration and to continue the life cycle of locally-grown music for endless generations,” noted Chris Thomas of CF Martin Guitar & Strings.
